Entrepreneurship education is a business subject taught basically to equip learners with knowledge and skills on how to identify business opportunities in their environment, get the business started, and manage the business successfully. It’s a new subject in Uganda’s curriculum and it’s aimed at creating job makers other than job seekers.

In Teso College Aloet, entrepreneurship is taught right from senior one to senior six.

At A level, it blends very well with both arts and science combinations, and the subject teachers are committed to imparting knowledge and skills on areas like: financial management, production management, projects management, human resource management, and all issues about running a business. Students usually start their own income generating activities at school and in most cases go to visit well established businesses to enable them to relate theory to practical business situations.
